Othai – Thaimassage Dusseldorf
What is a Thai massage?
Simply put, Thai massage is a combination of (passive) yoga and acupressure. Unlike the classic (Swedish) massage, the Thai massage is based on 10 selected energy lines, which, according to the Ayurvedic teaching, permeate the body. On these energy lines lie the marma points (acupressure points), through which, according to aryuvedi teaching, man is supplied with life energy. Life energy can be fed to the body through breathing. That’s why Thai massage techniques focus on stretching to allow the muscle to consume more oxygen and thus cause deep breathing. Â By the way, a small muscle soreness after a Thai massage is completely normal.
From a medical point of view, the Thai massage stimulates blood circulation through the pressure point massages and the muscles relax through the stretching. Physical mobility is increased on the one hand by the bending and stretching of the spine, on the other hand, the rotation of the joints increases the physical suppleness, because more synovial fluid is produced.
Don’t waste time and convince yourself of our professional masseuses and use a relaxing Thai massage in Düsseldorf.
